I'm currently working on an untitled Gamelit/LitRPG Lite novel series. The working title is Aether Shard. I plan to release novels 1 - 3 of this series sometime in 2021.

Here's the blurb:

When Terry gets accepted into a high-profile competition for a new virtual reality fantasy game, he has no idea why he was picked. He's just a nobody, barely living above Basic, who plays old school RPG's in his free time. He's certainly no famous Active VR athele like most of the other contestants. But when strange and deadly events begin happening in the real world, Terry starts to suspect the game is somehow responsible. And he might be the only person who can help.

I'll update this section every so often so you'll know what I'm currently working on.

Continuing with my read through of the second draft of Aethershard. As I go, I'm making notes at the chapter level and general notes I'll need to change for the story at large.

It's a humbling experience. I'm currently reading Patrick Rothfuss' Name of the Wind. I don't know if I can recommend reading the work of a professional veteran author as you revise your own story. It certainly inspires and I know it will help my writing overall. But seeing how inferior my writing is in comparison is a bit disheartening.

But my revision continues and I know I'll only improve my story as I go. The best I can hope for is to put out the best novel I can at my current level of experience. And know that my writing and novels will only get better as I continue in this career.

I've also decided to begin posting regular articles here on the site in 2021. I consume science and geek news daily, so I'll post my takes on these news articles.
